Update for Kurzweil 3000 for Macs Released – V4.5.1

Today we released an update for Kurzweil 3000 Macintosh. The v4.5.1 update includes fixes for the following:

Updated ‘Read the Web’ FireFox extension to support FireFox 4.
Allow a user to edit zones without having to re-recognize.
Resolved Issues:
Couldn’t open Bubble Notes with Choose One or Choose Multiple
Bubble Notes with semi-colon in title or text caused the document to
fail to open.
Slowness when Word Prediction deals with long unknown
Word Prediction not having as many suggestions as it should.
There are updates for each edition of Kurzweil for Macintosh (Standalone, Network, and Web License) that can be accessed and downloaded from the following location:


All product editions of the Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh product – Standalone, Network (Engine, Administrator and Client) and Web License Client – are now on a DVD instead of a CD. From the DVD window, select the product edition you want and drag and drop its icon to your Applications folder. For more details on installation, go to the Installation Notes section in this Read Me file.

·        The Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Trial is now on a separate CD, and can no longer be activated to full product.

·   The documentation set, while unchanged, includes a new Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Version 4.5 Web License Guide.

·  All documentation is available in PDF format in the Documentation folder on the product DVD, as well as at http://www.kurzweiledu.com <http://www.kurzweiledu.com/>  website. Print documentation is no longer included with the product package.
