Topics in Practical Methods for STEM Accessibility – New Site

Four blind men who have PhD’s and own/run companies who sell or create accessible products have joined efforts to create a web site, Access2Science, which provides practical methods to access STEM information.  Given the nature of scientific language, it presents  problems for most screen readers and it is a generous gift to those who could use the tips from others who have found ways to overcome some of the barriers.  Thank you.

“The Access2Science web site is devoted to articles and links on accessibility of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This site is intended to provide practical information to people with print disabilities, to the parents, teachers, and peers of people with print disabilities, and to agencies and researchers wanting to know the state of the art.”
